Dance Teachers
Rachel Shaw (Purvey)
Principle of Dudes and Divas
Rachel launched Dudes and Divas Dance School 14 years ago while studying for her BA Honours degree in Dance and Choreography. Over the years, she has taught street dance, musical theatre, Zumba, salsa, and even wedding dances. Working closely with local primary schools to provide street dance clubs, she has managed over 30 performances and competitions, giving children the opportunity to perform and win awards. Now a mother of two, she is transitioning from teaching to focus on expanding the business and taking on a more directing and administrative role, using her business qualifications to create even more opportunities for children to experience the love of dance.
